We wish to thank you and the staff at Small Wunders for the excellent schooling and care our Evan has received over the last couple of years. We are very sad to be leaving and will miss all of your smiling faces. Small Wunders was a very important part of our family and has contributed significantly to Evan’s early years of schooling and development. We will remember all of you very fondly and will miss you all. Thank you for everything!

Take care and best wishes always,
Michelle, Adam, Evan & Elijah

Dear Penny and all the staff at Small Wunders

Thank you for taking such great care of Evelyn – you all made the transition to daycare so smooth and worry-free! We have witnessed Evelyn blossom into a bright little girl & we equate that to all she has learned while in your care. Penny – we very much appreciated your willingness to work with Evelyn & us on making her comfortable at daycare. We thank you for any and all accommodations! We know Evelyn will miss all the staff and friends she made at Small Wunders!

Thank you for such a positive experience!
The Bogle Family

Dear Miss Penny, Mrs. Susan and all of the wonderful teachers that have worked with Summer:

For the past 2 ½ years that Summer has attended Small Wunders, I have never had any complaints or worries! I felt very confident that my daughter was getting the care and attention that she deserved. The staff at Smsall Wunders truly care about the kids and it is evident by the smiling and cheerful faces that you see daily from 7am to 6pm!

Summer loved all the fun things that she could make and do at her “school” from the amazing and creative arts & crafts, to music class and water days! She spoke very highly of her teachers and this was very important to us. Miss Susan and Miss Penny have been amazing as well – very helpful and a pleasure to get to know! Thank you all so much for the dedication, time and love you’ve all shown our little girl – who is now a “BIG GIRL” in JK! She is going to attend John T. Tuck. We will miss you all!

Dear Penny and all the staff at Small Wunders

We can’t believe how fast our time here has been. The past 3 years have flown by. Words can’t express how much this place has meant to us. Your love and attention to Blake and Jacqueline is immeasurable. All of us have thoroughly enjoyed coming here every day. As parents, it is reassuring to not only know that the caregivers are skilled, but that they really care about the kids.

The time has come for us to move on, but our memories of Small Wunders will remain with us always.

We wish each and every one of you much happiness and success.

Jacqueline, Blake, Derek, Jennifer

Good Morning Penny,

This is a notice that Nassim’s last month in Daycare will be the month of June 2014 with the last date of June 27th.  He will be in my mother’s care in July and August 2014 and in my care until he is ready for school (it makes me tear up just thinking about him starting school already).

His time at Small Wunders has taught him so much and taught my husband and I so much more. Watching him grow, learn, play and become who he is now was an amazing experience for all of us (including the grand-parents and uncles and aunts). I would highly consider placing baby number 2 (no names yet), in your care. The caregivers were helpful, gentle and very caring and that put us at ease with leaving him under someone else’s care (no one has ever watched him except for the grand-parents).

You are the only daycare I will recommend and want to extend the thank you to everyone I met at Small Wunders.

Imane Benyoucef

Dear Susan,

We would like to thank you and all the teachers of Small Wunders for all your hard work. It is so true that kids grow up really fast. It seems like only yesterday when we first brought Dominic here when he was only 18 months old. It gave us peace of mind knowing that our son was in great hands. It’s comforting to know that not only is Dominic getting a great education, but he is truly happy at school as well. The activities you plan, the friendships you help foster…it’s all incredible, and it’s helping our son (and us) believe that school is fun!

Dominic will really miss his teachers. He’s always said that he likes all of them, from Corrie and Jamie in toddler, to Shannon, Thea, and Linda in pre-school, to Tina and Ashley in kindergarten. He will also miss his friends too.

We are so thankful that there are teachers like you. Dominic will thank you one day himself, we are sure of it.

Thanks for everything!!

Arnold, Emerald, and Dominic Badilla.

To Susie and Gang.

This moment is far more difficult than I ever imagined it would be. My family has been tied to yours in one way or another for nearly 8 years. My children are who they are in great part because of you, your mom, your aunt, your grandmother, and your wonderful staff.
Our experience at Small Wunders has been truly wonderful. It is the place where my children learnt to read, tie their shoes and eat lentil soup. And I think Dora has made Sabrina into a piggies-in-a-blanket addict. I never worried if my children were eating right because I knew that Dora had that under control.

I am grateful that I could leaving my children day after day and not have to worry about their care. I was confident as I went about my day that my children’s every need was met with much love. It was always a bitter sweet moment to come pick up my kids and see they didn’t want to come home just yet.

Your methods and philosophies regarding children and education are second to none. I hope as the years pass, many children pass through these halls and have the most wonderful experiences just as the Quattro Chicks have. We’ll always be in touch so you can see the proof in the pudding in the making, and see all your good work pay off as these girls begin elementary school.

I thought hard what to do about parting gifts. Every teacher here deserves a warm and special gift but I finally decided on a large gift for the whole school to benefit from. Please enjoy this Staples/Business Depot gift card. I figure a school can never have enough markers , paper, craft glue, kids scissors and other teacher resources.

All the very best for your continued success,

The Quattrociocchi Family

Dear Susan.

We just wanted to say a “BIG THANK YOU” to you, Dora and all the wonderful staff at Small Wunders for the time Hannah & Ryan had at Small Wunders.

As parents, the greatest pleasure is having the confidence that our kids are taken care of specially and safely. As we look back, we really feel grateful to the service provided by Small Wunders staff in taking care of Hannah and Ryan. When we left Hannah during may 2007, it was our first year in Canada and we were very much worried about how Hannah would get adjusted to the new daycare. Thanks to your staff (especially Tina), who worked with her, updated us about Hannah.

Added to this, we were very hesitant and worried while leaving Ryan when he was 10 months old. We were amazed by the good service from your staff (Sharon and Carmella) and were very ahppy to leave our baby always having the confidence that he is taken care very well. Ryan had become more independent in toddelers classand it is because the loving care of your staff.

Starting from the delicious and well planned food prepared by Dora and dedicated care by the staff and your quality management, we can say “Way to go Small Wunders”!!

We are sure that you will achieve great heights in this line of business with your dedication and commitment. Feel free to quote our name for any future references. We hope to meet you again.

Take care and God Bless,
James Family (Babu, sangeetha, Hannah Alicia, Ryan Joshua)

Dear Susan,

As a token of our appreciation, we hope you enjoy the catered lunch.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your unfailing hard work, tender affection and dedication to our children and to all the children at Small Wunders. We have great confidence knowing our children are in an educational environment that is not only safe, but a loving home-away-from-home.

Susan, your perseverance and vision of Small Wunders is evident when anyone walks through the front door. The bright smiles and greetings received each day is a sign of positive energy that shines through, no matter what kind of a day any one has had.

May each of you share a blessed Christmas and New Year filled with health and happiness!

Dear Susan.

I don’t even know where to begin….A Little over a year ago I was faced with the fear of going back to work and having to leave our daughter with someone other than me… until, low and behold, we stumbled across small Wunders… and your centre is the most amazing thing we could ever hope for in a centre, and the quality, care, and support you and your staff provide, is literally priceless!
A daycare owner who is so involved in the day to day care of the kids, who provides an amazing routine/schedule and incorporating education with fun and one-on-one care… we have no words to express our gratitude!! We have not only gained the best quality care and having the honour to have our daughter in the best daycare, but we have met such amazing people along the way and developed relationships and feel so close to the staff, I could call them family!

So thank you for the wonderful year round service and would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and happy prosperous new year to you and the loved ones that surround you!

Lotsa love,
Josie, Joey, and of course Ashley Ivicz.
